At Lotus Learning Centre, our mission is to provide high-quality tutoring services that are accessible and equitable to all students and their families. We understand that private tutoring services can be expensive and out of reach for many, so we strive to make our services affordable for all. We are dedicated to helping close the gap of learning loss due to the pandemic, and are committed to making sure that every student gets the individualized attention they need to succeed.

Vision
Lotus Learning Centre, created by Ms. Toure, a Paraprofessional in the Boston Public School system for over 6 years, is dedicated to providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed. Our vision is to foster a community of lifelong learners who are inquisitive and ready to take on any challenge, thus creating a better future for all. We are proud to have recently developed academic projects that emphasize our commitment to students and the wider community. 3 Year Growth Plan
Our growth plan for the next 3 years involves expanding Lotus Learning Centre to reach more students in need of our services. The long-term goal is to add new programs to our existing curriculum, hire additional experienced tutors, preferably Boston Public School Teachers, and open several facilities to better serve our students. Our focus is on providing the best possible education and support to students while helping them achieve their academic goals.
At Lotus Learning Centre, we're dedicated to providing quality education to students who need it the most. Our center was created in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic to support students at a Dorchester school who could not afford tutoring. We believe that every student has the right to access the best possible education. That's why we offer services on a donation basis so that we can help every student achieve their academic goals regardless of their socioeconomic background.
At Lotus Learning Centre, we are dedicated to providing personalized academic support to students in need. Tutoring is currently led by Ms. Toure, a Boston Public School-based teacher, who specializes in working with students who have experienced significant learning loss. We offer academic support to a student's individual and specific needs. Our curriculum used is the same curriculum designed and implemented in the Boston Public School system, ensuring easy integration for students and families. Services are provided after school or on weekends at community libraries in Boston, making it easy and convenient for families to access the academic support they need. Our recent projects demonstrate our commitment to providing high-quality tutoring services to every student in the Boston area.
Our next steps over the next year include creating a board of directors and submitting our 501(c)3 certification to the IRS. We are passionate about our work and are committed to achieving our goals.
As we strive to expand our services and reach more students across Boston, Lotus Learning Centre is working towards 501(c)3 certification, which will give us access to grants and funding opportunities. This will help us to open a facility and provide additional resources for our students. We are committed to providing equitable, high-quality tutoring services, and we aim to hire professional tutors, preferably Boston Public School teachers, who have the knowledge and experience necessary to help students succeed. We believe that education is the key to a successful future, and we are dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential.
